| 14 May 2004 - Starter Help No one nibbled on my project to duplicate the old Dom1 starter god files like at using the wayback machine so I may just muddle thru it on my own. Eventually I should have a downloadable set of gods, a starter game with all the nations, and the same game at various stages (turn 10, turn 100). Plus of course an online explanation. | Randomly Generate Maps These arent quite as good as I had running for Dominions (1, the original) but with the additions that people like PhilD have been able to put into DomMap at least they work for Dominions 2. They are ugly. Maybe I will get some automatic prettyfier to work later. Also for now they are all majorly huge (450 land and 50 water mostly) because thats what I prefer for my projects. Also smaller maps are getting done manually and beautifully by other players so I feel this is a need. So go here to browse MAPs. |

that will still be good Some of the old stuff will still be good for Dominions 2 such as the stuff for generating names for plains and forest provinces. Even more so when I start getting used to the new #terrain thing in maps. Old Dom |
| about Jan 2003 - GOT STARTED After playing with the Dominions2 demo I've decided that its a good move from Dominions (the original). Ive preordered the game and will being working on Dom2 versions to replace the Dom1 stuff Ive done. |
