The More Nations Mod fills in many of the empty nation slots in Era 1 with fairly generic nations. Mostly for people who like playing large games on really large maps.
The MegaVanilla Mod removes all of the nations from Era 1 (the Early Era) and replaces them with large batch of vanilla nations. The nations are all the same except for flags and chart color. Its purpose is to allow players to challenge each other to duels on a completely even footing. Only Strategy vs Strategy.
This is the Watcher Mod
It creates a nation and adds it to the game which can survive till late game making as little impact as possible in that game. It allows the game master (or maybe tourists) to view the game without requiring them to have access to one of the player files. It avoids (hopefully) any visitor accidentally taking actions in the game. Here is the thread on some of its possible uses.
This mod is something I did for myself. Natural Selection mod
It places all of the Pangaea and all of the Oceania nations into the early age so they can all play in one game. Ive been thinking of including it with a map to create a scenario. Something along the line of "Revenge of Gaia" where all of the human players will need to combat a huge united nature. All 5 of the nations in the mod were going to be in as allied AI's (they would not attack each other).
This "mod" is even smaller than the last one.
Filler mod
This is VERY handy. It does nothing at all. But if you start a game with this mod turned on then you can edit it to add things later which will appear in the game. Very handy for people hosting a large game which will run a long time. If the players decide that something is being used too much and spoiling the fun, then you can edit the filler.dm file to remove it from the game saving you from starting over.
Here is a tiny mod which is hardly worth claiming...
Fledgling Nation mod
It puts the empty nation (at this time) number 79 into the Early Age. It can be an example. Or you could actually try to play it which would be a real challenge (do not try it on no-indept maps).
I made a Single Age mod I THOUGHT was crazy enough for my list of mods. It puts all of the nations into early era so you can play them in one game. It goes great with a 1500 province map. However, it has turned into a fairly acceptable concept to the Dom3 community. And even the devs showed interest. Luckily someone else has created an improved version which is generally used in place of this one.
edit: this has been updated to Dominions 3.21
In continuation with the Random Generated MOD project that Leif and I did for Dominions 2, I will be working on a ChaosMod program for Dominions 3. For the time being this will be a link to output from that program so that people can see how it is progressing.
ChaosMod.dm
As of this time there is not yet a compiled executable. Eventually there will be one for Windows. Possible later one for Linux, and Mac. The executable will give you a link that you can click to create an entirely new copy of ChaosMod.dm on your machine. It will be alot like my Chaos Maps. Its best to not expect anything to be as you are used to.
This is the Tiny Nation mod
It probably isnt worth playing but it might be worth looking at if you have never done mod yet for Dom3.
Edit: updated to Dominions 3.21
This is the players stub mod
For the "variable nations" games you will need to grab this and place it in your dominions3/mods directory. Nothing else. You will never need to enable it. It just keeps Dom3 from complaining that you must be using the mod in order to join the game. The real fun isnt in your copy. Its in MY copy on the server when the game is created. You have no idea what will be in it. In fact, I will have no idea what is in it. Isnt random chaos fun?
